Julia has been practicing as a chartered physiotherapist for 16 years and obtained extensive experience in the NHS before progressing into professional sports physiotherapy with Sale Rugby Union Football Club, Manchester Storm Ice Hockey Team, the Lawn Tennis Association and Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
Over the last seven years Julia has dedicated her time to private practice, whilst still retaining the knowledge and expertise that her previous work has afforded her. Julia is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP), the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and the British Association of Sports Exercise Medicine (BASEM). Julia is also on the expert panel for whiplash associated disorders with one of the UK's largest personal injury companies.
Julia has lectured extensively to consultants, general practitioners and physiotherapists. She continues to be actively involved in lecturing on the GP training programme for Tameside.
Julia's particular areas of expertise are spinal pain (necks and backs), sports injuries, whiplash and knee problems.
