Jochen Fischer -  MD FRCS (Tr and Orth)

Jochen is a Specialist in Upper Limb Surgery at Macclesfield District and General Hospital. He was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2008. Jochen has had extensive specialist training in upper limb surgery, having undertaken Upper Limb Fellowships in Wrightington, Derby and Indianapolis. He has also undertaken a trauma fellowship in Johannesburg and elsewhere in South Africa.

Jochen offers a wide range of arthroscopic and open operations for treatment of disorders of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.

Jochen is married with two children. He enjoys holidaying in Scotland, as well as windsurfing, Tae Kwon do and running.
