Sue is a specialist therapist dealing with conditions of the pelvic floor in both men and women. She takes referrals for continence assessment, and provides treatment for pelvic floor rehabilitation, especially when related to post-natal muscle weakness. She also assesses and treats stress urinary incontinence, poor bowel control, mild prolapse, post prostatectomy bladder leadage in men, and for pre-operative and post-operative pelvic floor muscle exercises.
A full baseline continence assessment and pelvic floor examination is completed, followed by advice regarding bladder habit, fluid intake, management of bowel function and pelvic floor exercises.
